Vevo double glazed uPVC aluminium bi-fold doors

Another secret's out - Vevo doesn't just make uPVC doors

Another secret's out! Vevo makes more than just high-quality uPVC doors. The latest range of precision-engineered bi-fold doors is available in uPVC or aluminium - sliding doors to transform any living space and give customers maximum choice when they're considering folding doors.

Connecting indoor and outdoor spaces

Vevo panoramic bi-fold doors seamlessly connect any home's outdoor and indoor living spaces. Customers enjoy the following:

  • The style and practicality of folding doors
  • A choice of opening configurations
  • The latest in door design, quality and performance
  • Low maintenance 'concertina doors'
  • A wide range of colours
  • Choice of UPVC or aluminium bi-fold doors

A novel alternative to traditional conservatory doors

And all in one easy-use door that, once folded back, creates a large easily accessible opening with a low threshold. Bi- fold conservatory doors make a novel alternative to traditional conservatory doors. And bi-fold patio doors give homeowners a new way onto their Indian sandstone or weathered Yorkstone.

uPVC bi-folding doors

Outside couldn't be closer than when it's allowed in through Vevo's latest uPVC fold and slide doors with their great looks, ultra-slim frames and convenient sprung D-handles - for easy opening and to allow the doors to fold flatter for better views. And of course, these folding sliding doors open effortlessly thanks to silky-smooth built-in four-roller aluminium tracks.

Safety and security

As usual, safety and security was at the front of our designers' minds. Vevo bi-fold doors come with high quality security locks. And a discreet lever in the D-handle prevents security shoot bolts accidentally engaging and damaging floor coverings (or the door) when the door is open.

The biggest drawback with most uPVC bi-folding doors has always been the high threshold (often 120 mm or more). With the latest Vevo bi-folding doors the standard threshold height is 66 mm, which reduces tripping risks.

Excellent security comes without compromising the looks of Vevo bi-fold doors. Secure locks are complemented by fully concealed built in stainless steel anti-jemmy pins that prevent the doors being levered from outside.

Energy matters with folding doors

And then there's the ever-topical matter of energy efficiency and the high-tech triple weather seals that keep occupants free from draughts so they can work or relax in peace, quiet and warmth!

Last but not least, Vevo uPVC bi-fold doors are available in the same colours as the rest of Vevo's window and door range - plus the standard option of Natural Oak on white.

Aluminium bi-fold doors

Vevo products have always given customers lots of options. That's why the folding door range now includes the extra strength and durability of aluminium bi-fold doors guaranteed for up to 25 years. They're more thermally efficient than uPVC too - to reduce heat loss and helping keep heating bills as low as possible, while ensuring occupiers' warmth and comfort.

Blending seamlessly with uPVC conservatories

Whether they're used as bi folding patio doors or conservatory doors, the rigidity of Vevo aluminium sections means these bi-folds show more glass and less frame than their uPVC counterparts. And in Vevo's standard white powder-coated finish, they'll blend seamlessly with uPVC conservatories. Metallic finishes are also available, and matching to any RAL colour.

As well as being an interesting alternative to conventional domestic patio doors, aluminium's strength and durability also makes these bi-fold doors a perfect choice for commercial applications such as restaurants, cafes and bars.

Installing bi-fold doors in UK homes

Whether you call them bi-fold French doors or simply 'bi-folds', Vevo's bi-fold doors look great on-screen or in the latest Vevo brochure. But they look best of all when they're installed in a home. And with a local Vevo select installer, that couldn't be easier.
